A regular keen reader of The Times of Astrology for last 10 years and the monthly feature "Time Spectrum" of the Journal as has special interest, had sent herewith another horoscope which to him is an "IN-EXPLICABLE" horoscope and requested the learned founder editor to discuss the horoscope for the benefit of the readers.  To continue to provide the safeguards in the interests of the readers, I, alongwith Smt. Rajeshwari Shanker, the Editor of “The Times Of Astrology” undertake this onerous task which was suitable only to our founder editor Late Shri R. Santhanam.

Native was born on 20-11-1963 at 7.00 a.m. in Dhaulpur (Rajasthan) when Libra ascendent was rising and the Moon was in Scorpio (Vishakha Constellation).

The special feature of horoscope are that out of 9 planets 7 are in their own signs (including Rahu and Ketu) except the Royal planets the Sun and the Moon (both are debilitated).  The 9th Lord Mercury is with the Sun in ascendant along with the Lagna Lord Venus forming Budha-Aditya Yoga and Raja Yoga due to conjunction of 9th Lord with the Lagna Lord.  In the second house 10th Lord Moon is with the Mars (also Lord of 7th House) giving rise to an other Raj-Yoga due to conjunction of 7th and 10th Lords.  Saturn is Yogakaraka for this Lagna and is placed in own sign in the 4th House aspecting 10th house and the Lagna (containing 3 planets - 9th Lord, 11th Lord and Lagna Lord).  This position also produces Raja Yoga.  Jupiter from own sign Pisces aspects 10th house and its Lord Moon in the 2nd House.  The 2nd and 7th Lord Mars is also under Jupiter's aspect.  Ketu and Rahu in the 3rd house (Sagittarius) and 9th House (Gemini) are also Yoga-Karaka.  The reader understands, debilitation of the Sun and the Moon is also cancelled giving rise to "Neech-Bhanga Raja Yogas".

Taking into considerations above dispositions of planets, the horoscope appears to be very strong particularly in respect to the personality, financial status, education, marital status and professional career.  But unfortunately, things are not in right perspective.

Following are the important events/features of native's life:

1. He is of good health and presentable personality.  Not much impressive in oral communication.

2. He has got good education.  He is M.Sc. (Maths) and M.B.A. (Finance) which he has completed only in 1997.

3. He is un-employed.  Hunting for a job in Delhi.

4. He is married in June 1997 with a beautiful and employed girl in Delhi and living with her in in her official accommodation.

5. His parents are alive and living in the native village.  Their financial status is not good.

6. Has four brothers and one sister.  Sister and three brothers are married.  Elder brother is an Engineer in a Sugar Mill.

7. In childhood he escaped death due to drowning in water.

8. He is ambitious and wants to become rich but not much serious to start with a humble job., He has no money to start business.

What is the prospects of his career and married life?  The esteemed reader, who himself is a great astrologer, wants a discussion in scholarly style, as he has a special interest in his horoscope, because native is his son-in-law.

The readers may recall our article published in TOA April 1996 issue under the title "Review of handling the Predictive Tools".  The things will be more clear and without much clouds if the esteemed readers look into the Cuspal Chart of the native instead of his traditional Ascendent chart.  In the cuspal chart, the placement of Sun, Moon and Mars changes the houses.  Moon and Mars join Venus, the Ascendent Lord in Ascendent itself whereas Sun shifts to 12th house to join the 12th and 9th Lord, Mercury there - Budhaditya Yoga is there but in 12th house.  There is no such Yoga in Ascendent.  7th and 10th Lord do not form any Rajyoga as understood by the referee but association of Lagna Lord Venus has allowed them to form Rajyoga.  Normally the placement of Rahu in 9th, Saturn in 4th and combination of Mars-Venus in any house gives a non-traditional marriage and after martial problems which are further magnified by the aspect of Ketu on 7th from 3rd.  The saving grace is that 4th house is well fortified by its lord Saturn by occupation and 7th is fortified by the aspect of its Lord Mars.  2nd House, though its lord is placed in 12th to it, but nevertheless well disposed even by its lord occupying Ascendent with its lord and receives benefic aspect of Jupiter from 6th.  This all indicate and guaranty the ultimate harmony in martial life.  the cause of worry to his wife may be the behaviour of her in-laws towards the couple.  The native is destined to prosper and progress only after his parents retire from the occupation as 10th house as well as its lord Moon both are afflicted by the aspects of Saturn and Rahu.  The placement of Pluto and Uranus in 11th house indicates the ambitions of the native are definitely far away from the family traditions and the mind of the native is always obsessed with foreign ideas.  The aspect of Ketu on 11th confirms the same.

The exchange of aspects between 6th Lord Jupiter, and 12th Lord Mercury which happens to be 9th Lord also and associated with 11th Lord Sun, gives a clue that he is again destined to earn his livelihood through the working out the legal disputes and foreign elements in his job.  He may try his luck, in government projects obtained by foreign companies/sectors through his professional skills.  He may also join some consultancy organization dealing in foreign trade and currencies and the disputes arisen on account of these things.  He may also approach some international airport authority or a multinational hotel or Hospital.  All these jobs are destined to provide him a handsome amount of his livelihood as for the time being, he is running under the Mercury-Rahu period (from 25/11/95 to 13/6/98).  Rahu plead in 9th is all set to break all normal norms to provide everything in the life.  If he try to stick the traditions and values, he has to face the music.  His birth time may need a slight correction if he is not married during first week of June 1997 (3/6/97 - 5/6/97) as he was further destined to get married during Mercury-Rahu-Ketu-Sun-Sun period.  The other facts mentioned by the reader may be verified very easily by any student of Astrology barring the status of his parents.  His father, undoubtedly has a fairly long span of life as 10th house and its lord both receive the benefic aspect of strong Jupiter.  The Karaka of Father, the Sun is the strongest planet devoid of malefic influence and possessing 9.07 Rupas Shadbal as against minimum required 5.00 Rupas.  Hence, the status of father regarding longevity is very-very clear.  Since, Moon, the Karaka of Mother and 4th house both are suffering from malefic influences and are almost devoid of all the benefic influence, except the association of Venus to Moon, according to my experience, the native might have lost at least one of his mothers including step mother (or Father's Fiancé) despite the occupation of 4th house by its lord Saturn.  However, this sort of prediction is very risky and, the professional astrologer should not predict like this.  The academic discussions may be made in this column to share the experience with others vis-a-vis the theory, that the placement of Saturn in a house, preserves the significations of the house whereas Jupiter does not.  This theory is not incorrect if we apply it on all the significations of the house as such.  It is found by me almost in every case invariably, that the "life" attached to the house is not preserved by the Malefic planets occupying the house, but others significations are not disturbed whereas in the case of Jupiter, it is observed that the "life" attached to the house is preserved, if necessary, through Upayas also by guiding the native to that extent, but no keen interest is shown by him regarding the enhancement of other significations of the house.  The readers may ponder.  The Saturn in 4th has preserved everything including "Happy Home" and formation of family bonds.

Since, the native is running under Mercury-Rahu period and Rahu occupies the Nakshatra of Retrograde Jupiter placed in 6th, an Upachaya house, the native will certainly get a job but he has to leave his family behind for some time as 6th house represents the separation/loss to 7th house, signifying mainly the lie partner.

May God Bless the native!
